After all, making choices, is one of the most important deeds of a leader. Thus, considering the facts of our lives (say "my beloved family, THE work..ouch, the clock has only 24 hours a day, mm..last summer I missed our holiday because.. but I will miss the promotion unless.."), placing value on each fact and then letting the scales speak.. is a duty not to be taken lightly.

But I love Life just as it is! It demands a lot of us but it also rewards us abundantly. And sharing our findings with each other, sharing a shoulder, makes it all the more better!Johanna Kotipeltohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13145332395521304471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745867699276731157.post-74547988546571344592010-12-31T00:26:02.389+02:002010-12-31T00:26:02.389+02:00You write about important issues, and now when we ...You write about important issues, and now when we are facing the new year, it is a good point to stop and think about the priorities in life.

I really do like my job, but from time to time it feels so artificial, fake & non-real. Sometimes this feeling hits me (for example)in a meeting where every issue we discuss is So Very Important and everybody looks so serious and busy. I feel like an outsider.

At those moments I think I should be at home instead, playing Carcassone with my kids or hiking in the woods or doing something else which feels more real.

I don't mind feeling that, actually I think it's good to realize from time to time that most things I fuzz about are actually quite meaningless. :) Besides, it keeps me my stress level lower than it would be otherwise.

The other side of the story is of course that quite often I work at home. And I know my kids hate it....

But(one of my favourite quotes): You cant't have everything. Finally! I followed discussion in Suomi24 and it was nice to notice, that people could really find solutions to their questions and discussions were so relevant to the related topic.

I think it is important to bring experts in to social media services; too often own websites do not attract common people to join the discussion. Now people are able to seek help and get peer support from other users in the services that they are already visiting. So go out!
